A few months ago I was lucky enough to be invited to do some lifestyle photography for the lovely Claire from Wrixton-Smyth Creations, a super talented jewellery designer and maker based in the South West. It was so wonderful to spend the morning in her (very) beautiful studio watching her process. I must say, I’ve always been intrigued by jewellery and how it’s made which made this shoot not only fun, but really interesting too! I am particularly obsessed with her sea urchins and pinecone jewellery which is so detailed and true to life! I also got to see how ‘hammered’ rings are made and how the silver is melted!
Claire is a true artist and is inspired by nature and her local surroundings. She has a lovely little shop in Symondsbury Estate near Bridport and I highly recommend you stopping by if you’re ever in the area. It’s also the most magical wedding venue too – I got to shoot a wedding here last year and I am looking so forward to blogging it soon so you can all see!
If you need personal branding photography or have an idea you’ve been playing with, or a unique concept for your own shoot and you’d like to get in touch to discuss it, please get in touch here! I’d love to hear what you have in mind!
