If lockdown has been good for anything, it’s that I’ve just about caught up on all my outstanding blogging from last year (blush). Yes, sadly I really am that delayed… The time between number 3 arriving and well, now – has just gone by in the blink of an eye! Can you believe he’ll be ONE next month!? (More about that in a separate blog post to follow over at Sawyer & Bear).

Anyhow, I digress.  This gorgeous wedding dates back to spring 2019.  Sarah & Richard were married on a beautiful day in April surrounded by their closest friends and family. I absolutely loved how authentic their day was, everything from Sarah getting ready at their home in Bridport, right down to the personalised Toblerone bar ‘BUZZA TO BE’ (Richards surname) and the symbolic bees on their wedding cake (which looked absolutely lush too just by the way!).  The entire day was just so unique them as a couple, which is something that I absolutely believe wholeheartedly is so important in any wedding day and honestly always shines through in the images that follow.

As you already know, I’m a sucker for old English Churches and St. Mary’s in Litton Cheney did not disappoint. Tucked away, so much so that one needs to walk up quite a steep pathway in order to access it.  However, the real highlight of the day for me, was the couple shoot.  We were so lucky to have an overcast day as shooting in the midday sun can be quite challenging.  Sarah sourced the most spectacular private garden directly next to the Church and you can see from the images, that we simply could not have found a more romantic location.

*Sarah and Richard opted for an out of season (reduced hours) package as their wedding reception wasn’t going to run into the evening.  If this is something you are considering please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss this as an option for your wedding day.*
