There’s a lot to be said for a couple that starts out as friends first and it was just so tangible at Andy & Amy’s wedding day at the STUNNING Clifford Barton.  These two asked me to document a half-day coverage for them back in June.  Their plan was to be married on the lake but the forecast for the day was wet, very very wet.  I arrived to a very drizzly, dark venue with  a stressed groom making his way back and forth from the lake hoping for a break in the weather so that they could go ahead with their plan A.  Amy kept her cool and at all times reflected a glowing, smiling bride trusting that everything would work out the way it was meant to.  It was only when Andy started helping with the set-up of chairs next to the barn ready to resort to their plan B, that he suddenly noticed that it was no longer raining – and it was from this moment on that it was all systems go for a quick dash down to the lake…

There wasn’t a dry eye in attendance for their beautiful ceremony, including my own! There was laughing, there was singing and there was so much love! They said their I do’s surrounded by their family, friends and their lovely doggo, Bear – who looked ever so dashing in his lovely bowtie! Wishing you both a lifetime of love, happiness and most importantly – laughter! However, I have my suspicions there certainly won’t be any shortage of this.  Thank you for choosing me to document this incredibly special day for you and I hope you enjoy looking through the images and seeing first hand just how loved you both are.
