You might remember these two from their engagement session earlier in the year, but from the images you’ll probably be able to see that they are the loveliest, most down to earth, laid back couples one would ever hope to work with! Rebecca and Matt were married at Hawkchurch in Axminster on what started out as a drizzly, Devon day. My day started out with all the gents at Rebecca and Matt’s home in Axminster, where Matt and his merry men were left in charge of their little boy, Cody who was the most perfect addition to the day and was happily passed between all the boys whilst they took it in turns to get their dapper navy suits on! I later met Rebecca at her parents beautiful house where she and her maid of honour were finishing off their preparations. Rebecca’s father rented a vintage car to drive them both down to the Church, I followed closely behind.
At the reception, which was held in a marquee in a beautiful Devon field on Trinity Hill overlooking the fields, it was just so very clear how much love and adoration these two hold for their family as well as their friends, and how their vision for the day was focussed on everyone being able to relax, enjoy and simply have fun. From the inflatable they had outside to the ping-pong table and the picnic benches, to the street food vendors they had arrive to serve up the dinner – everything including the beautiful decor was just perfect and fun. A photobooth, a candy wagon and a cream-tea reception preceeded Rebecca and Matt trying to knock each other off the giant inflatable which I have to say, was just the cherry on the top! Thank you so much to Rebecca and Matt for choosing me to be a part of your wedding day, I hope I’ve been able to capture a small piece of time for you. Wishing you a lifetime of fun together as you embark on your journey of Mr and Mrs!
